What began in 2022 as a response to a critical need for infection prevention education, Kentucky Infection Prevention Training Center grew into a meaningful resource for healthcare professionals across Kentucky and beyond. As the federal grant supporting KyIP concludes, the program will officially transition out of operation by August 1st, 2026.
While KyIP’s chapter is coming to an end, the importance of infection prevention education remains as vital as ever. Partners of KyIP, Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s are committed to carrying this work forward by continuing to provide healthcare professionals with relevant, evidence-based education, expert insights and accessible learning opportunities.
KyIP would like to personally thank all participants across the Commonwealth and beyond. We hope our program has made lasting changes and positively shaped the way infection prevention is approached.
We invite you to stay engaged with our growing collection of resources and educational content as we continue our shared commitment to advancing infection prevention and improving patient care.
The KyIP website will remain accessible for a period of time.
