Educational Module: Spot the Errors-CAUTI and CLABSI Edition
Learn the importance of CAUTI and CLABSI prevention through these immersive activities identifying possible sources of contamination. The accompanying presentations will educate and train the eye to connect common errors to infection risks. Practice these simulated experiences to enrich your facility with knowledge to drive down CAUTI and CLABSI rates.
At the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- CAUTI Prevention: Identify common errors in urinary catheter maintenance by analyzing photos that highlight potential sources of contamination.
- CLABSI Prevention: Evaluate infection risks associated with central line maintenance through visual identification of common mistakes in simulated clinical scenarios.
