2024 IP Boot Camp Rewind

This three-day intensive training program was designed to equip those working in healthcare with the latest strategies and best practices in infection prevention. Over 400 members of the healthcare community joined KyIP Training Center for a transformative, hands-on experience, where experts in the field imparted their knowledge and skills, empowering the audience to safeguard themselves, their patients, and their community effectively.

Audience members used this unique opportunity to elevate their skills and were at the forefront of maintaining a safer, healthier world.

IP Boot Camp 2023 Three Day Experience

IP Boot Camp was a three day experience. There is never a charge for attending IP Boot Camp. 

Day 1: COMPLETE
Oct. 16th, 2023

Day one focused on a return to basics in infection prevention and control. Through real-world, hands-on simulations participants will gain the knowledge and skill to protect themselves, their patients, and their community. This was an in-person event.

Day 2: COMPLETE
Oct. 17th, 2023

Day two focused on more advanced infection prevention and control topics and will use table-top exercises to explore infection prevention and control techniques and strategies. This was an in-person event.

Day 3: COMPLETE
Nov. 2nd, 2023

Day three focused on impacting change within the infection prevention and control space, fostering a culture of open communication, continuous education, and collaboration, empowering leaders to drive positive change in practice and influence outcomes. This was a virtual event.

Table-top exercises designed for infection preventionists and public health workers are interactive simulations that simulate real-life infectious disease scenarios. Participants collaborate to assess and respond to outbreaks, practice communication, and test emergency plans. These exercises enhance preparedness, decision-making, and coordination, strengthening the response to potential infectious threats.
